Terms & Conditions

Propagation of plants will commence upon placement of order.

• Propagation period is 6-9 months (subject to species or alternative agreed timeframes)

• Customer is expected to receive plants by the 9-month timeframe.

• Not applicable to orders where plants are in stock — full payment due upon collection.

• Orders under $10,000

• 20% payable upon placement of order

• 80% balance payable upon collection/delivery

• Orders over $10,000

• Client will pay a 30% deposit when order is accepted

• Client will pay a further 20% deposit in after 3 months

• Additional 25% due at 6 months from placement of order e The 25% is payable upon collection/delivery, or at 12 months from the placement of the order, whichever comes first.

• Orders over $10,000 (placed more than 12 months in advance)

• Client will pay a 30% deposit when order is accepted

• Client will pay a further 20% deposit 6 months before DELIVERY DATE

• Additional 25% due at 3 months before DELIVERY DATE

• The 25% is payable upon collection/delivery, or at 7 days after the original DELIVERY DATE, whichever comes first.

  
  

Plant substitutions

Nature Needs (NN) make every effort to supply the full range of plants requested by clients in tenders from our comprehensive seed bank. From time to time due to seasonal or climatic conditions and lack of availability of seed, unable to supply all species and/or quantities of a particular species requested in a plant list, and will substitute plants from our substitution plant list, which will be submitted if we are successful in this tender.

Plant Holding Charges:

If the project is delayed and plants are not collected/delivered within 45 days after the agreed

DELIVERY DATE, holding costs will be applied. These are calculated at the rate of:

• Hiko/200cc $0.15 (plus GST) per plant per month

• Forestry tubes/550cc $0.30 (plus GST) per plant per month

• 140mm pot $0.45 (plus GST) per plant per month

• 200mm pot $0.55 (plus GST) per plant per month

These charges will be billed monthly until the plants are collected.

Holding charges cover the cost of storage space and plant maintenance. Should any plants exceed their shelf life due to extended delays, a plant health report will be provided, and replacements will be discussed. Replacement plants will be charged at the original per-unit cost. If plants are not delivered / picked-up within 90 days after the agreed DELIVERY DATE, Nature Needs reserves the right to reallocate or dispose of any stock from affected orders

Cancellation of Orders:

The full purchase price of plant supply applies and is payable immediately if plant orders are cancelled.

Tray Return Policy:

As part of our commitment to zero plastic waste NN use high-quality reusable plant trays that are used multiple times.

The 40cell (HIKO), forestry tubes, reusable moulded trays always remain the property of Nature Needs and are supplied on the condition they are returned undamaged to Nature Needs in Werribee South.

If the trays are not returned within 30 days of delivery / collection- tray replacement fee charges apply:

·         $3.60 (plus GST) per tray for 40cell HIKO

·         $3.40 (plus GST) per tray for forestry tube

·         $3.70 (plus GST) per tray for 140mm pot

·         $3.80 (plus GST) per tray for 200mm pot

Tray replacement bills will be issued to customers 30 days after delivery/collection date and payable immediately.
