A fast-growing, perennial tree native to south-eastern Australia, Acacia dealbata features feathery, silver-green foliage and bright yellow, fragrant, globular flower clusters that bloom in late winter to spring. It grows in a variety of soils, from well-drained to slightly clayey, and prefers full sun.
Silver Wattle is valued for its ability to fix nitrogen in soils, provide habitat for native fauna, and its ornamental flowers, making it popular in revegetation projects, gardens, and restoration of degraded landscapes.
