A hardy, perennial herb native to much of Australia, Bulbine bulbosa produces bright yellow, star-shaped flowers on tall stems from spring to early summer. Found in grasslands, open woodlands, and along creeklines, it prefers well-drained soils and full sun to light shade.
 
The plant forms small bulbs and fleshy roots, traditionally used as a food source by First Nations peoples. The Bulbine Lily is ideal for native gardens and restoration projects, providing vibrant colour and attracting native pollinators.
