A compact, perennial herb native to south-eastern Australia, Pycnosorus globosus produces bright, golden-yellow, spherical flower heads on slender stems, mainly blooming in spring and summer. It grows in well-drained soils across grasslands, open woodlands, and rocky areas, thriving in full sun.
