A perennial herb native to south-eastern Australia, Xerochrysum palustre produces clusters of bright, papery yellow flower heads from spring to summer. It typically grows in wet or seasonally damp grasslands, swamps, and along creeklines, thriving in full sun and moist, well-drained soils.
